This chapter assumes:

• An Oracle or SQL Server database has already been configured for AssetWise (see Database Setup )

AssetWise Information Integrity Server is the primary server in AssetWise. The AssetWise Information Integrity Server installer includes the AssetWise Information Integrity Server, database files, many individual AssetWise services, and the AssetWise System Management Console which is used to create datasources and communities and manage AssetWise services. You can perform a complete installation to install all of these items on the same computer. You can also use the same AssetWise Information Integrity Server installer to install individual items on other computers and set up a distributed AssetWise environment.
